I noticed that we dont have a good base here for jobs, or training, how can this program work here for those who want training or employment here on the island of St. Croix. I myself have not touched a solar panel in four years now, I would like more training and some hands on experience, Thank you

If you want you can come to Oregon and I can do some training on a live lab :)

COVID-19 has certainly made hands-on training more difficult the past year. Now that vaccines are becoming available, I hope that many solar training providers will be able to ramp up once again (Eric might touch on this also).

Eric that is a great point, many veterans will want to use the GI Bill and would probably not consider the program if they are unable to use benefits.

Hi Abe, I would strongly encourage you to follow Megan's advice and coordinating with the Veterans Resource Center on your campus, also searching for Veterans Organizations in your area could make a difference for older veterans who may not be familiar with how solar has evolved over the last decade
